As a avid reader and artist, books have always inspired me and my artistic journey. When visiting galleries, I have always noticed the lack of Art relating to books and beautiful stories. This is when i launched The Artsmith. A studio specialising in handmade gifts and decorations for readers and all book lovers. If you love reading, your bound to find something you love at out bookshop. From handmade cute booknooks with a handpainted papercraft interior. To bejewled book keyrings and tote bag charms. ARTSMITH BOOK NOOKS
Artsmith book nooks are handmade masterpieces that make the perfect gift for any bookish fan. Made of pinewood, each one is carved, hand-painted and designed to resemble a real book. Artsmith book nooks have their names on the spine were they are also signed by the Artist. The cover is hand-painted with a cute set of eyes attached to the front. Artsmith Books can be opened to reveal a beautiful hand painted paper diorama. This is layered with a transparent sheet protecting the diorama from dust.
A battery-operated light if fitted on the inside of the Artsmith book with its switch at the base. Metallic gold paper is hand cut and added to the diorama, casting a beautiful gold reflection, especially when the light is switched on. Artsmith books are highly collectable and make the perfect gift for any book enthusiast.

Artsmith keyring and tote bag charms are the perfect way of accesorising your favourite bags and keys. Our treasure book-keyrings are inspired the ancient art of treasure-binding. This included books that were commissioned by aristocrats enctusted with rare gemstones and made of gold and silver. Taking inspiration, we have used rhinestones, paint and a lot of patience to recreate something on a similair scale. As a result you can enjoy your own mini treasure binding as a mini keyring!
We also have cute handmade tote bag charms you can attach to the handles of your tote bag. Resembling a mini book, each one is handmade and handpainted. has a quote on the spine and is a great way for any reader to show their love of books and reading.
